The size of the fonts in the first few lines of the posts (except quotes)

  Hi,

  Could you help me please with this matter? Something has changed with the posts I put on my blog, and I was hoping you could tell me what I may have done wrong.

  All the posts look fine to me, they are exactly how I would like them, but up until a few days ago, when you looked at the posts (all posts, except for the ‘quotes’): without opening them, you first had the title, a photograph, and right under the photographs there were the first few lines of the post. Now, something has changed in those first few lines; the size of the fonts of those first few lines has changed (-> smaller). Do you know how I can get them back slightly larger – without changing anything in the actual posts, because I would like to keep those as they are.

  Hi Leo, I’m not seeing any reason the font size for the excerpts you are using would have changed. The original size set in the original CSS is still set at 1em. You can set a different font size at Appearance > Customize Fonts, but that would likely change the font size of other things as well that use the “body” font.

  The first thing I would suggest is to make sure your browser zoom level is set to the default and not zoomed in or out.

  Each of the posts displayed on the main page have their positions and sizes calculated by the theme and WordPress software, so we can’t really increase the font size of your excerpts with CSS because things would not shift to adjust to that new font size.

  If you wish, go to Appearance > Customize > Fonts and adjust the font size for the Body font there. We could then reverse things on any other elements that use that font setting and end up getting too large.
