The strangest problem in the history of Word Press.

    Well, my problem is:
but first Please take note of the matter with great interest because it is my problem that anyone may face and therefore its solution will be of help to many WordPress fans and users around the world.
    and my issue is:
I’ve hosted my domain name: https://hollycent.com/ with hostinger hosting service, and
After I’ve installed WordPress on my domain hollycent.com
I’ve noticed that I cannot log on to Word Press as I receive a message stating that I cannot log in because the username is not existing although I have a word press account created with hostinger hosting service, and when I’ve tried to create new account I get message said: ‘the user name not available’
    So just from http://hollycent.com/wp-admin
I can log in after writing my user name or email address
but at the same time, I can use my other account called magnofellow without any problem even I can use the Gravatar website to edit and upload my photo, etc…
so why just magnofellow account can I login to it to WordPress.com such as WordPress.org without any issue but at the same time, I can’t do that with my other account: hollycent? :(
    And now the question is:
What is the technical issue that prevents me from doing this?
how can I open separate accounts for hollycent such as magnofellow who has everything with no issue?

    So the summary is:
    1- I’ve two WordPress account
2- and the two hosted by hosting service
3- one of them called magnofellow work with everything
such as WordPress .com, wordpres.org and Gravatar and also with http://magnofellow.com/wp-admin/
but at the same time hollycent account just works with:
    https://hollycent.com/wp-admin/

By the way, I know that: It is, though WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different systems, I can transfer a website’s content from WordPress.com to WordPress.org for example, though those two don’t really sync.

Please any expert can help me with this issue?

    Thanks in advanced
    Malaz

  • Hi Malaz,

As you mentioned, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities.

We, WordPress.com are a cloud-based platform where we manage WordPress sites, whereas WordPress.org is a stand-alone software that you can download and self-host with any other hosting.

You can find more details about WordPress.com and WordPress.org on this support page:

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

That being said, the account you create on WordPress.org is not the same as your WordPress.com account. If you’d like to use your site hosted by Hostinger with your WordPress.com account, you’ll want to connect it via Jetpack as explained here:

    I hope that helps :)
