The Suits theme header

    Hi,

With “Suits” the customized header does not include the entire top of the blog, but only a part of it.

Is it possible solve the problem?

    Thanks for your attention!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi there,

The header should go across the main content area of the blog, so its ends should line up with your content to either side. It likely does not go all the way to the edges of your screen, though.

You could likely widen it with CSS if you have the custom design upgrade:

Hi Eurello, thanks for your support!

So, If my understanding is correct, I can cover the entire area of the blog only through a custom design upgrade.

    It’s so unfair. :(

  • The header is intended to display that way. Most of our headers are aligned with the post content area, and don’t run to the edges of a screen since people use all different size screens.

If you have the Custom Design upgrade, you can change the theme’s default display, however, with your own CSS.

Hi I’m rubbish with computers and I’m trying tp create a theme across wordpress and other social networking sites etc. I have used the Suits template and want to copy the header to facebook etc how do I do this? Do you also know what the font name is as I downloaded a black background and was just going to type my blog name using Suits font but I don’t know what it is. Any help much appreciated!

  • Hi there,

The header font family for the Suits theme is Lato, sans-serif.

Right now, your header is just plain black, but you can upload an image for it and use that same image in other places. You could also create a header image with your own text in it, to make it easier to upload the same header everywhere, and then uncheck ‘Show header text with your image.’ in Appearance->Header here, so the text doesn’t show twice on your blog:

    Would that work for you?
