I was also able on the preview mode (before buying it) to arrange the portfolio works in colums and I´m not able after I bought it.
Please can you fix this.

Hi there,
Sorry for the trouble! You can change those settings in your site’s Customizer, by visiting the “Theme” section there.
In the Theme section, you can click on Portfolio to control how the portfolio projects appear. You can also find more details about setting up the Swell theme on the Swell theme page or from the theme author in the Swell support forum.
Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)

Hi
Thanks for the answer
I have tried this many many times. I change the portfolio number of posts and nothing, the number of posts and nothing.
The only thing showing is the video and the static page
Can you please help?

Hi there,
I took another look at your site, and I see that you’ve set a static front page for your site but that page is still using the default page template. To set up the Swell theme’s special home page layout, you’ll need to change that page so it’s using the “Home” template instead. (You can select that template in the page editor when you edit that page.)
Once the page is using the “Home” template, you’ll be able to set up all of the home page features mentioned under “Setting Up the Homepage” on the Swell theme support page:
https://wordpress.com/themes/swell/support/
Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with that. :)

Lovelly, now it works.
One more issue. I haven´t been able to set the portfolio/blog page in colums. How do I do that?
Thanks!

I’m glad that’s working for you now!
One more issue. I haven´t been able to set the portfolio/blog page in colums. How do I do that?
I checked your portfolio page, and I see your projects are appearing in three columns there:
http://mxmcollective.com/_portfolio/
That’s like the Swell theme demo and its portfolio page here:
https://swelldemo.wordpress.com/our-work/
The blog page, in contrast, is always in a single column, like in the demo here:
https://swelldemo.wordpress.com/journal/
If you’re trying to set that up differently on your site, can you describe exactly which page you want to change and how you’d like it to look instead?

Hi Rachel
Thanks! I managed to change it last night.
I think the last thing I really wanted it to be different is to show the posts (news) with just a short description on the blog page, not all the images and texts inside each blog.
That would make it 99% perfect.
Thanks

Hi there,
I think the last thing I really wanted it to be different is to show the posts (news) with just a short description on the blog page, not all the images and texts inside each blog.
You can use the More Tag to limit what shows up on the blog page. When you are writing or editing a post, you can add the “more” tag anywhere in the post. Whatever content is above the tag will appear on your blog page, and readers can click through to read the rest of the post.
Please let me know if I can do anything more to help!

Thanks!
Thats great!
One last problem… I have a HD video on vimeo, and wanted to use it HD in the home page in swell, but it is not showing in high definition, as the one in the demo. How can I fix this?
Thanks

Hi there,
I have a HD video on vimeo, and wanted to use it HD in the home page in swell, but it is not showing in high definition, as the one in the demo. How can I fix this?
I see what you mean. I checked on Vimeo and found a FAQ page answering the question, Can I make my embedded videos default to HD? On that page, they recommend making this change in your video’s settings:
… if you have a specific video you want to default to HD mode, head to that video page and click “Settings.” From there, select the Embed tab. Check the box next to “Default this video to HD quality when embedded” and save it like your life depends on it.
Can you try changing that setting in Vimeo to see if that makes a difference for the video on your site?
I’m also checking with our theme developers to see if there is something we can do on this end to make that video default to HD on your site. I’ll let you know if I find out more from them. :)

Hi there,
Were you able to change your settings on Vimeo to set your video to HD quality by default? Our team checked and Vimeo determines the playback quality for your video, so you’ll need to start by making sure Vimeo uses HD quality for your video all the time.
Please let me know if you changed that setting and are still having trouble with this!
