The Text Widget and links?

    The Support article for Text Widgets says, “You can use a text widget to display links, simple text, images, tables, CSS styled HTML, or a combination of these.” I’m not clear on what “display links” means. Does it mean that make a word in a post a link, and when it is clicked on the linked text would appear in the text widget box? This would be useful to be able to provide a definition of a word, for example, in the text widget without leaving the post.

    I’m afraid that the functionality you suggest isn’t possible.

    By links we mean that you can the HTML code for links, so clicking on a linked word in your text widget will take your readers to another website or page.
