The Theme After Activation

  Hi everyone,

  I am now learning to create a blog with wordpress.com.
  I encountered problems as below:

  1) after I selected and activated a theme, the display seemed not what suppose to be (e.g.. the theme under selection have images and texts arranged nicely), but when I clicked on the theme which showed customize, it only appeared blank column..no images, no text, nothing..

  2) Im also confused what am I suppose to do next after activation of the theme.. I looked up numerous video tutorials, they only shown piece by piece that how to select and activate theme then finish. Next video straight jumped to how to do posting.

  can anyone help..? Thxvm

  Howdy!

  1) I think this is because you have yet to add content to your blog. When you add some content (Posts, Pages, add images to them, etc.) you will see your content in the Customizer. The theme previews and demo sites have “dummy” content to give you an idea of what the theme might look like when populated with content.

  2) The next step is to add some content to your blog — create some Posts and Pages! :)
