The theme I have paid for is broken

    Hi, the theme in my WordPress is broken as host gator has said. I think I need to speak to WordPress to contact the vendor of the theme as some coding needs to be changed. My site is blocked when I try to activate the theme I have paid for as I changed something in the coding which should not have been changed. How can I contact WordPress to help me with this? Thank you

    Hi there,

    The only people who can help you with this is the company who made the theme you’re using. There should be a support link on their website where you bought this theme, so please contact them there directly.

    WordPress is just the name of the software you used to create your site on Hostgator’s servers. That software is made by a community of unpaid volunteers on WordPress.org, who have no control over how your theme works, and have nothing to do with the company who made your theme.

    The forums you’re posting in now is for the hosting provider, WordPress.com. We also cannot help with this, as your site is not hosted with us, it’s hosted with Hostgator, and we also have nothing to do with the company who made the theme you’re using.
