THE THEME I PURCHASED WILL NOT COME UP
-
I can not find it to post in it. Instead a very simple blog page comes up. If anyone can help me I would appreciate it.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

http://gsfradio.wordpress.com/ is using the Modern News theme. What theme are you TRYING to use? Note that no themes look like much until there are three or four posts at minimum on the front page.

Thanks for your help. I thought I would be able to see the theme where I could choose where I wanted the stories to go in, top or bottom and also make up the the different sections titles on the bar at top so I could choose which section to put the story in.
I also need to be able to cut the story after one paragraph and have it go to another page so it will not be so lengthy on the front page. I see no way to do that.
Can I do these things?
Thanks again for helping me. I appreciate it.

The stories go in the order in which they are posted, unless you edit the timestamp.
As for the rest, I will have to refer you to that theme’s showcase page, and also the posts relating to it in the Themes forum. And also the Theme Options page of your own dashboard. All the options for customization should be covered by that combination.

Thanks again…. but isn’t there a way to see the newspaper format as I viewed a live edition when I paid the $75 a few minutes ago?
I was interactive… easy to use… I have nothing like that.
I can find no preview… nothing. Just a simple one page blog.
I am really need guidance on this… I appreciate your help.

I cannot help you. I know nothing about the theme: that is what the themes forum is for. Also, premium themes come with help from the designers which is provided IN that forum. I would expect them to take Christmas Eve off, however. There will be existing information on the site’s page and on the Modern News tag in the Themes forum, so read it. That may be all you require if you want to get started right away.
The newest themes are great-looking, but they require configuration. They are not out-of0-the-box solutions, nor, for some goddam reason, do the theme designers see fit to include a page with “make your theme work and look just like the demo” instructions.

Thanks for you help…
Can you guide me to a way to get a refund?
I would appreciate it.
I tried finding that as well… to no avail.
-
You want a refund because you do not want to learn how to use the theme by reading the forum and you can’t wait two days over Christmas for staff to come back? Sure. You can get a refund on your Store page. Hover over the purchase and the Refund button should pop up.

Thanks so much.
I don’t see much support available. in the future. There is no phone number… no live chat.
Even it wasn’t Christmas… I am going to need more assistance than what I see is available.
I am going to have to find a company… where the template can be seen and I can work on it. I paid for a template that is “invisible.” I have other websites with templates… but in all other cases I can see it. That doesn’t seem to be possible with this.
Thanks for your help though. I do appreciate it very much.
I do wish you the best.

You will not be able to edit the theme code at WordPress.com at all; it’s not built for that. You will need to buy independent hosting from somewhere and install blogging software in it and then add a theme.
Purchasing a theme here means you have access to the Customizer, to the existing Theme Options, but not the actual php. You have, when it’s NOT the biggest holiday of the year, live support from staff in the forum, but not phone support or live chat support at anything less than the $299 a year package level. A typical external install of WordPress.org software will run you about $150 a year for hosting, $75 or so for the theme, and then of course you do all your own tech support.

I’m sorry to bother you again… but I can not find the place to get a refund. When I put my arrow over store nothing happens.
Thanks for helping me get a refund. It seems to be a mystery on this site as to how it is possible.
-
Yes, it’s clear they deliberately suppress the information in the Support documents, since when you put in Refund you can’t find it. Here is the link directly to the instructinos. Note that you don’t put your arrow over Store. You click Store to get to the upgrades list and you hover over your specific upgrade purchase to request a refund.
