The title of my latest post is not appearing correctly

    The word maintenance is not appearing correctly in the title to my post, whatever I do the final E appears alone on a line of its own, even when I change the words in the title – it just splits the final letter off from the rest of the word. Help please

    Hi @rachelcorby, I think it’s just the length of the word vs the screen size — this particular theme wraps the words at certain screen widths, and Maintenance is a long word to fit with big letters.

    If you shrink the screen just a little bit, the letters get smaller so more of them fit on a single line, but I can see a few widths where the letters just don’t fit anyway.

    If you had your preference, would you like the word to break like this?
    mainten-
    ance

    Or just have the words on several separate lines if needed?

    Hi @supernova thanks for getting back to me. My preference would be to have the words on several separate lines rather than splitting the long word, certainly on this occasion. I actually tried to do this yesterday when the problem presented itself but couldn’t work out how to do it. I would appreciate you help to do this.

    Hello Rachel,

    It looks like this E being placed on another line is a theme quirk.

    I’ve gone ahead an added this CSS via Customize > CSS to fix that:

    
/* Fix overflow wrap in title AL */

.singular .entry-title {
    overflow-wrap: initial;
}

    Can I ask you to check if the behaviour is still occurring at your end please?
