  For some reason the subtitles or whatever they’re called on the homepage still show the default text for excerpt. I have changed the information on the page. I have done everything I can think of on the customizer. Now one full option with picture is missing and I’m ready to throw my comp.

  Where are the “subtitles” and “excerpts” on the homepage of https://lifeataglance2017.wordpress.com/. I don’t find them.

  Now one full option with picture is missing…

  Can you try to explain more clearly? What’s missing, and from where?

  Depending on your theme, there may be color palette options listed under My Site > Customize > Colors & Backgrounds that may help, though they would usually change the color of other elements as well, and use preset combinations.

  Beyond that, you’d need a Premium Plan or Business Plan, so you have access to Custom Design and maybe even use some Custom CSS, depending on how involved the desired changes are :)
