The “Twenty-eight Thirteen” ain’t working

    Hi

    I been using the Kubrick theme for 3 years now; I think is one of the best.

    But I wanted to give a try a change for a three-columns theme; like a Kubrick one… but with no luck at all in my search.

    I tried the “Twenty-eight Thirteen” theme, but It didn’t work. It showed as a one column info.
    Seems like:
    http://s2.wordpress.com/wp-content/themes/pub/twenty-eight/2813.css?2
    is 404

    So:
    1.- I look foward for a good three-columns theme. Something like a Kubrick, but with an extra column at the left, with 50% opacity =D

    2.- There’s a problemn with the “Twenty-eight Thirteen” theme.

    You can sort the themes under “Appearance” by using filters http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/ after which you can preview your content as it would appear in a theme by hitting the Preview button.

    If graphics is the subject matter of your blog, you may want to have a look here to see what the maximum image posting width is for each theme. http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/07/23/maximum-image-width/

    FYI-Before switching to any new theme, make sure you copy all the content of any text widgets you may have on your blog in case they don’t make the transition.

    Thx for your time.

    Yep, I use filters to find the three-columns themes, and previewed them.
    The “Twenty-eight Thirteen” theme looked good in the preview area, but when I activated, it didn’t work properly.

    That tip site is very good (long time ago I had to figure out the maximum image width by myself)

    1.- Let me know if theres a posibility to design a new theme (or sugestions for developing ones)

    2.- I don’t know if the problem with the “Twenty-eight Thirteen” theme, still exist, I didn’t tested it this time.

    Did you report the problems you experiences with this theme directly to Staff? I sure hope so because they are the only ones who can “fix” it.

    In my tests blog I check themes all the time. 2813 works fine – main column plus two sidebars. Maybe the OP had experienced a temporary browser or server issue.

    I have the 2813 theme up on my test blog and it has 3 columns and appears to be working so I agree that karakenio may be experiencing browser issues.

    Which browser and version of it are you using?
    Have you tried an alternative browser?
    Have you tried these troubleshooting techniques?

    Ok, now I tested it again, seems to work fine.
    I’m gonna keep it for a day if someone wants to check.

    I use Chrome. When the ploblem happened I asked friends to check it out and wasn’t working propertly (someone told me the “/wp-content/themes/pub/twenty-eight/2813.css?2” = 404)
    I guess it was a failure of minutes.
