Hi thank you for your response. I don’t have a site address as yet as it is installed locally and has not been uploaded to a server yet.

the site address at in the address bar is http://www.marisnaps.dev.cc if that is any help, but as i said, it is all local at the moment. I wanted to finish the site before uploading it.

Hi @bleh2654 — I apologize but you are using the wrong forum center. You need to know the difference between WordPress.com, and WordPress.org, because they aren’t the same forums. Each have different but some same features. If you still don’t understand, read on.

You are on WordPress.com Forums, when you would need to be on WordPress.org forums, for this request, as this is for hosted sites, and not for “self” hosted sites under their own hosts.

Basically, they have they have the same name, but the difference is .org, and .com, and have different options in each. Also, WordPress.com, is where everything is done for you, and WordPress.org, where you are able to manage your servers, etc.

WordPress.com and WordPress.org have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.

I have some links that may be useful:
    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org
    WordPress.org Forums
    WordPress.org Support Site
We’re so sorry we couldn’t assist you further, and wish you success on your site.

Hi @bleh2654 — No worries! We all make mistakes! Take care :)

Staff— There is no issue as someone has added the Modlook tag, before I came to help.

  • @alissonwp

We added the tag while triaging unreplied threads, and when we get to a thread with the tag we will decide whether a staff response is still necessary or not.
