The url I was hoping for is reserved, but not used – any chance in getting it?
-
There was a url I was looking at. WordPress doesn’t say it’s in use, but that it’s reserved. When I look it up there’s no site with that name, is there any way of me getting it?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

When we register a username account the matching blog is reserved for our future use. It cannot be obtained by anyone other than the person who has registered the matching username account. If you have changed your username then the blog URL will not be available for use under the new username account.

You would need to contact that account and convince them to register the blog then transfer it to you. You are on your own, WordPress.COM will not give you contact info for the account – Privacy issues

Thank you for the responses! I should say that it was originally available when I first made my account, my laptop died and the tab closed. When I ended up making my account it was unavailable. Does this me it is reserved to me?

Might be in limbo somewhere – I have flagged this for staff attention – what is the name you want?
In the mean time try the below options

Hi there!
I’m afraid that the blog address “jamierodgers.wordpress.com” is not available and may not be transferred to your account. Things like this happens when you register an account but don’t enter your username in the blog address field (e.g. username.wordpress.com).
As a result, you end up with the blog address you entered, but your “username.wordpress.com” address becomes automatically reserved so that no one else may register it to avoid any confusion. I hope that clears things up.
Let me know if you have any questions to follow up with. Thanks!
