The video embedding is not working
-
I copied the URL of the youtube video I was trying to embed. The first time it showed up on the page properly- so you can see the video image and click play. However, when you clicked play, it said the video did not exist.
Assuming a mistake occurred while copying, I deleted the original URL and attempted again. However, now it is only showing up as a link when viewing the page- although it does not appear to be a link on the editor.
Suggestions? Thank you!

It’s not letting me give you a direct link.
From the main page, go to Programs & Services/ For Youth / Enrichment Activities / Forest Lake Safety Camp.

Hi!
Here’s the direct link to the page you’re referring to I believe:
http://web.ysblakesarea.org/forest-lake-safety-camp/
If you visit the Text Editor for that page by clicking “Text” instead of “Visual” from this page:
https://ysblakesarea.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=56&action=edit
You’ll see the following:
<p style="text-align: center;">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xbyqe6PEIX8&list=UUMpTVMdRYZtz748ydkaO42w</p>For the video to work correctly, you will need to remove the tags surrounding the URL. So, you’ll just want the following:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xbyqe6PEIX8&list=UUMpTVMdRYZtz748ydkaO42wPlease give that a try!

Ok, that allowed the video to show up. But now the original problem occurred again. When you click play, the block turns fuzzy & says “video does not exist”.

Hi!
Can you try to replace the link currently within the article that reads like this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xbyqe6PEIX8&list=UUMpTVMdRYZtz748ydkaO42wWith the following?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xbyqe6PEIX8&list=UUMpTVMdRYZtz748ydkaO42wIt looks like some miscellaneous characters were added inadvertently. I believe the second link is the one you’re looking for!

The following link is actually to a list of videos (not one particular video):
If you would like to only play a certain video, you will need to replace the list URL with an individual video URL like this:
You can find the individual video URL by clicking on the video you would like to play within the playlist. Then, copy everything before the “&” symbol. In the top example, this would result in the following URL:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xbyqe6PEIX8Basically, we’re taking everything before the “list” portion. Can you give that a try? If you’re having trouble, please let me know the title of the video, and I’ll be happy to provide the link.

Perfect! I didn’t realize the URL provided for the whole list. It is working now. Thank you!
