The video from youtube is attached to my blog but it links it to youtube instead

  I would like the video embedded in my blog – as your demo shows on the help section here – but instead the link jumps viewers over to youtube – which I didn’t want to do.
  The demo you show with wordpress allows the viewers to watch the video while remaining on the blog, which is what I’d like to do

  Hi Tara,

  I’m able to watch your video directly in your blog. Are you clicking on the link that appears when you hover over your YouTube video?

  If so, you’re correct, that link will take you to YouTube. However, if you click on the play button, the video should start rolling in your blog. Is this not happening for you? Are you taken to YouTube no matter where you click?

  Thanks! I actually did get a second video on the blog without it going to YouTube (the video has some problems – but that’s another story !)
  I did use the link above the video to cut and paste .. The one at the very top of the page (http addy)- is that correct ? The second one I used a link that YouTube gave me as I published and that one seemed to work better.. So now I’m confused!

  Hi Tara,

  I’m sorry if I confused you! I’m referring to the white hyperlink that appears at the top of your YouTube video (image available here).

  You should be able to use either the URL that appears at the top of your browser or the one that YouTube gives you with the same result.
