The Visual Theme: sidebar on home page?
-
I use “The Visual” theme for my blog, which I really like, but the home page doesn’t have the sidebar on it (you have to go to one of the individual posts to see the sidebar).I wonder if there’s a way to put the sidebar on the home page. As it is now if someone searches a specific topic, it takes them to the home page and they would have to go through all the posts to find the one they’re looking for and are not able to see the list of recent posts or categories unless they should try one of those posts. Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
In the Visual theme, the sidebar only appears on single posts and pages. That’s how the theme is built, so it can’t be changed here at WordPress.com. The good news is that your home page shows all of your recent posts, so visitors don’t need the list of recent posts to see those. :)
If you prefer a theme that has the sidebar on the home page, you might want to try one like the Sunspot theme or the Suburbia theme. The Sunspot theme in particular has a lot of things in common with the Visual theme, but it also has a sidebar on the home page.
Please let me know if I can provide any further help with this. :)
