The week-long beginners course email going to wrong place
-
The week-long beginners course emails are going to the wrong email address (my work, no idea how that happened) and Customer Service 1.) doesn’t understand what ‘wrong’ is, or how to fix it. 2.) I have been HUNG UP ON 3x now by Customer service, not to mention how much time I have spent on hold. I am furious with their ineptness to fix such a simple problem.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
We don’t have phone support on WordPress.com. Who exactly did you call?
Your site, bipolarelysium.com, is hosted by Bluehost. If you signed up for an email course with them, they’ll need to fix it.
If you signed up for a Blogging U email course here on WordPress.com, those are sent to the email address associated with your WordPress.com account. You can change that email here:

Hello,
I have been calling 877.994.9757. They are definitely not support, and are a poor representation of ANY customer support.
It is Blogging U that is the question. Bluehost was not able to assist. My WordPress email ((email visible only to moderators and staff)) is correct for my site (bipolarelysium.com), but BU emails are going to my employer at hamiltonparkmontessori.com (redroom2013). I am not an admin for that site, so I cannot make changes.
Would you be able to look at my BU subscription and change the email to (email visible only to moderators and staff)? I seem to be unable to do so.
I also need to make sure that any future email associated to my personal site (bipolarelysium.com) go to my personal email baerbaer.com and not to my employer (hamiltonparkmontessori.com, redroom2013).
Sorry if this is complicated, but it has been an incredibly frustrating week trying to fix this from my end.
Greatest thanks,
Baer -
Thanks for the information.
It sounds like you signed up for the course while you were logged into the redroom2013 account – I can see that we’ve been sending emails to the address for that account.
Blogging U signups are account-based, so the only way to change the email is to change the account’s email, but I’ve signed up your account for the Blogging Fundementals course, so you should start receiving the emails now.
For the emails going to the other account you’ll either need to log in as that account and stop the course via the Blogging U page (https://dailypost.wordpress.com/blogging-university/), or you’ll need to click the Unsubscribe link in one of the emails you’ve already received.
I cannot remove another account from the course without that account’s permission.

Hi K,
Thanks for the help.
How many days are in the BU? I have been forwarding them to my home email, I just have not had time yet to read them yet.
Now that I see how easy it is to mix up accounts, I will watch more carefully!
Kindly,

That’s a number for a company called Geometric Box.
There have been two other threads about them recently (1, 2)

Different courses have different lengths. The Blogging Fundamentals course for which you signed up is 14 days long, i.e. 14 emails. On the Blogging U page I linked above you’ll see the length of each course indicated next to it.

Ah, okay. If you search Google for “WordPress support” you’ll find many results for companies who offer support for WordPress sites, but they’re mostly for self-hosted WordPress, and many of them are not very good, as you found yourself.
For WordPress.com support it’s best to come directly here or to the contact form at https://wordpress.com/help/contact, and for help with the Jetpack plugin on your self-hosted site go directly to the Jetpack.com website.
Thanks, @garysixtyeight, for the extra info.
