the white screen of death

hi. i get the white screen of death and cant login to my dashboard or ftp to remove or deactivate the plugins is there another way of fixing this problem?

It sounds like you are using the self-hosted WordPress.org version of WordPress instead of the WordPress.com-hosted version supported here.

Thank you for providing the link. It does appear this is a self-hosted version of WordPress.
With that being said, I would get in touch with your hosting provider (WebAfrica?) to see if you can get your FTP access working. Once you are able to connect with FTP, I would try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.
If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
