The widgets are stuck to the bottom, and the posts repeat themselves

Okay, for some reason, despite my organizing the widgets to be on the right of the posts, they’ve been pushed to the bottom of everything. Except on the pages for the individual posts.

On top of that, a bunch of posts I made in December have been pushed to the bottom, even below the November posts. And a lot of those are breaking the “box” that they’re supposed to be in.

I initially thought that the reason the archives and things were pushed to the bottom was that some of the posts exceeded their allocated place, but it’s not the case.
I tried copying the content into a new post and deleting the old one – it looked like it worked to begin with, but even though the posts stuck to their boxes, it didn’t fix the archives. And the problem reasserted itself when I changed the date of the posts!

Also, on an easier note – how to I switch the posts to show a snippet of them, rather than the whole thing?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Sounds like you’ve got an HTML error. Fix that before anything else: http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2012/05/19/sidebar-at-the-bottom-and-related-issues/

To show just a snippet of the posts on the front page, either choose a theme that does this automatically or use the More tag http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/more-tag/

Thank you! I looked at the link and found that alt-text may have been the problem. It was :)
