The word "Aside" appears as an active link where the title of my post should be.

Why does the word “Aside” appear as an active link in small letters where my title of my post should be?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
Take a look at these Support articles about post formats:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/post-formats/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-formats/Many of the newer themes support “post formats” which are intended to make various kinds of posts stand out from a standard post format. But it’s optional to use any of these format variations, and you can edit the posts which are using the “aside” post format to be standard format posts as explained in the above articles.

This still does not help me. I have the word “ASIDE” instead of the title of my post. I want to get rid of the word “ASIDE” and whatever it entails and then see the title of the blog. (This is on the interview with Kristin Wallace, if anyone cares.) I DO NOT SEE the word “format” as a selection on my dashboard.
-
No, “aside” is not on your dashboard.
dashboard—>posts—>choose post to edit—> there will be a module on the “edit post” page called “format” with a list of the various formats your theme offers—>choose “standard”—>update postThere are more details in the articles I gave you, but if you need more info please post again.
(note: if the “format” module is not visible on your edit post page, go to the upper right top of your screen “screen options” and √ checkmark the “format module” so you can make this edit.)

I did not see the “format” on the edit post page. It doesn’t appear anywhere. I went into the “screen options” and checked the format box but it doesn’t seem to make any difference when I check it.
I looked in the articles and none of what you stated appears in my “edit Post” section. It doesn’t even make sense; like you have another screen up.
On my edit post page, the one particular blog has an icon before the title, like a notebook page with the bottom right corner turned up. Only one other article I did in January has this icon but I have no clue how it turned up. I just want the title up on my blog. Who can I talk to who can give me step by step instructions on how to delete this?

You just need to read carefully. I understand your question, and it’s not unusual. Post formats are confusing for many new wp.com users.
Aside format does not show the title of your posts. But you really can edit it easily.
Here is the editor you need to select your specific post which you want not as an aside but as a standard format:

If the format module is not showing then you need to look at the screen options and √ it so it will appear:

-
Please note: you cannot delete the “aside” icon or format. You must edit the exact post to change its format. Once you edit the format to “standard” your post title will be visible.

The pictures did it! I was on the wrong page, and then didn’t scroll down, thinking I was supposed to stay in the “screen options” section after I checked “format.”
I am most grateful –thank you for your supreme patience!!

Ah!
Proves again a cliche:
a picture is worth a thousand words…
LOL
So it’s great to know that all is now well!!
