The word getting added in front of and behind my blog title

    The word getting added in front of and behind my blog title. It doesn’t show when I view the preview but once I post, the words are there. I do not want them there and need to know what is creating the issue and how to correct it.

    Hi there, do you mean the STRONG tag is visible in your post title? I don’t see this when looking at your above site. Can you take a screenshot of what you see and upload it to your site’s Media Library for Staff?

    This is what happens when the blog posts. In the preview, the extra word is not there.

    Hi there,

    I’ve taken a look at your site and I can see the issue you are referring to if I look at the “wp-admin” view of your blog posts here: https://authorbeckyjohnen.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit.php

    I see that some posts have the <strong> HMTL tag, and some have both <strong> and <em> HMTL tags. It is a bit inconsistent though, it does not seem the issue started at one point and kept happening, but is an issue that comes and goes.

    Out of curiosity, are you writing your blog posts by hand, or are you copying/pasting contents from another source like a Word Doc, email, or some other website?

    Often this kind of formatting can “come along for the ride” if you are pasting from another source, and we’re hoping you can help us confirm, thanks!
