The Word "Standard" in the Posting's Title

I’ve been managing/editing a blog posting – Trayvon Martin George Zimmerman Crime Scene Map Analyzed – on both a PC and iPhone over the past few days. When I logged in via a PC today, the word Standard appeared (for the first time I believe) next to the posting’s title.
Meaning, my posting’s title now says: “Trayvon Martin George Zimmerman Crime Scene Map Analyzed – Standard” instead of “Trayvon Martin George Zimmerman Crime Scene Map Analyzed.”
A) Why?
B) Does this affect anything?
C) Regardless, how do I fix it?
D) Why are other wordpress.com (and .org!) topics similar to this closed without a resolution/description of the issue?Please advise – thank you!

I don’t se what you see. I’m using Firefox 11. These are the troubleshooting steps we take whenever any issues like this arise:
clearing your browser cache and cookies > http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050
using the browser with all extensions or add-ons disabled
updating the browser to the latest stable vesrion (not a buggy BETA browser version) http://browsehappy.com/
confirming third party cookies is enabled http://support.google.com/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=61416
confirming JavaScript is enabled http://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=12654
trying another browser like Firefox 11 or Safari
resetting your router and modem -
D) Threads are closed for many reasons and sometimes it’s because they blogger started a thread on the same topic in both these peer support forums and in the Staff Answers Forum and Staff have dealt with it. Sometimes they post support tickets and threads and Staff deal with the issues in tickets and close the thread. Each thread is a unique case and only Staff can close threads, but every blogger who create a thread can mark it as resolved.

I think that is just a notation for Your benefit as blog admin. If it doesn’t show up to readers on the actual blog, all it is is just notification of the post type. Some themes have different post formats like Aside, Image, VIdeo Post, etc. Standard is a post format, for standard kinds of posts with text and title and so on.

Yes, this is just a notation for your benefit in the Dashboard, so you can know what a post’s format is at a glance.

But it’s a bug, because only alternative formats are supposed to be marked (and the theme the OP is using doesn’t support them anyway); and as the screenshot above shows, it appears next to the latest post but not next to the one below it.

Yes, that is correct as well, and I have noted it as such. Rest-assured, the notice only appears in the Dashboard and does not affect the post titles on the blog itself.

A) Yes, dashboard bug (I explained why above).
B) No, it doesn’t affect anything.
C) You can’t fix it: only WP can.
D) Threads are automatically closed after one month of inactivity. -
