The word/text "by" will not show on the front end of my wordpress website

Some of the paragraphs on my website include the word “by”. This text displays perfectly on the back end of my site, but once I am viewing the front end it completely deletes the word. It will allow me to use the word if I put a capital “B”, but it will not display the lower case “b”. I don’t want random capital “B’s” throughout my sentences, so I am hoping someone can help me.

Also to note, I have cleared all caches and tried other browsers but this seems to be a wordpress issue not the browser.

I don’t see any sites in the account you used to post here. Can you tell us the URL of the site you’re working on?

The site is http://readingexpress.ca/ however its currently not live, I have an “under construction” plugin enabled. If you would like me to change it to live so you can have a better look I can do that.

You’re posting into the support forum for free sites hosted at WordPress.com. But your site isn’t hosted here so staff can’t see the backend to offer advice. Your site is over there on GoDaddy servers. As it uses the wordpress software (rather than the modified version of the software used here) you’ll need to create an account and ask for advice from volunteers manning the correct forum for your site.

PS: Have you perhaps copy/pasted text from Word or similar into your site which can cause odd things like this? Do you experience the same issue if you type directly onto your post? -

The text has been deleted and re-entered multiple times in multiple areas on the website. But the issue always remains.. I cant seem to get the word “by” to show on the front end unless the b is a capital B.
