The WordPress android app is unable to retrieve the site information.

    This problem has araised from last 1 day, the app is connected to the website but it is unable to retrieve the site data and unable to post new blogs.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    hi,

    Your website does not look like it is hosted on WordPress.com.
    We’re able to help only with websites hosted on WordPress.com.

    To clear up any confusion, there are 2 versions of WordPress. WordPress.com is a managed environment different from using the open source WordPress installation. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two, different entities.

    You might check in with your host to see if there’s an error log you could look at for more information. Or, you could look in this forum; perhaps someone there has experienced something similar:

    Hi there,

    The mobile app uses something called XML-RPC to communicate with your site, and it appears that that is not working on your site:

    http://gloomyworld.com/xmlrpc.php

    You’ll need to contact your hosting provider and ask them to enable XML-RPC before you’ll be able to use the app to post to your site.
