The wordpress apps

  Hi I was wondering if the apps, in particular the desktop (for windows 7 and above) work offline. If say I didn’t have any internet connection for a few days and wrote a few draft posts with the desktop app, would it save them all ready for me to publish once I have an internet connection?

  . More or less the same app is available for Mac, Windows 7, 8 and 10 and coming soon Linux.

  Hi timethief thanks for your help but I’ve had a look through the information that you linked to but can’t find the answer. My question really was does the app save the data to the hard-drive on my laptop so that I can write posts when I don’t have an internet connection and have them saved or does it have to sync all the time even to save drafts.

  Otherwise, if this isn’t the case I can’t honestly see the point in the app as it is exactly the same as the web browser version. To be able to save in-app off-line would be really good.
