The wordpress function to look at revisions of pages (in the Preview menu) has not worked at all for

WordPress’s software got goofy over a week ago and it mistakenly over-wrote a long page of mine with a different page’s text.
I used wordpress IM’ing with a young woman from WP, and she said to use the revision function on the Preview menu, to pull up one of the prior versions of the page, and then restore that version.
That all sounds very nice, but your site software does not work for this function, it has not worked for about 2 weeks, and it just puts up a weak attempt at humor, blaming “Matt” or somebody that the revision function doesn’t work.

“Goshdarnit!Something has gone wrong with our servers. It’s probably Matt’s fault.
We’ve just been notified of the problem.
Hopefully this should be fixed ASAP, so kindly reload in a minute and things should be back to normal.”
============================This error/excuse message may be cute the first 5 times, but it wears thin when you do not actually do anything about the multiple and layered problems.
Since WP lost my longest and most important page, it is a little irritating and a little distressing to have your software overwrite entire pages, and then to have the WP software make weeks of excuses as to why the recovery software is not working.
Please help correct this problem soon.

Thank you for the reply. I just now saw your message.I have exited the pages.
For some odd reason, WP dumped our Car Importing for Mexico article/page over-top our Immigrating to Mexico page.
If you could please pull up a version of the Immigration page – say from 3 weeks ago – I could fix the problems.
The specific Immigration page I am looking for is the one that I was editing the $$ costs for immigration visas to Mexico – to reflect the changes in the 2015 official Mexican minimum wage.
Bizarre….

Is the Dec 29 version a page that talks about immigration
or
is it a page that talks about importing cars ?If it talks about immigrating to Mexico, please restore a Dec 29 version.
If it talks about importing cars into Mexico, please restore the most recent version that talks about immigration.

As requested, I restored the December 29th version for you.
I spoke to one of our developers. It seems that in the last revision, you may have tripped the page-length limit. Let’s keep an eye on the issue. If it happens again, let me know, and we can come up with another solution for you.
