The WordPress plugin for Facebook doesn’t work for me

  I’ve just registered for an account at WordPress.com and added the WordPress application to my Facebook account. When I make a post in my WordPress dashboard, it doesn’t show up on my Facebook profile. The WordPress box appears on my Facebook profile, but it just says “0 posts 0 comments”, even though there are posts.

  Furthermore, when I try to create a WordPress post from within my Facebook account, there’s a text area for typing the post, but there’s no Publish button! There is a dropdown box asking me which blog I want the post added to, but the dropdown is empty.

  does anyone know what’s wrong?

  The privacy options for your blog is set to:

  ‘I would like to block search engines, but allow normal visitors’

  Only blogs that are set to:

  ‘I would like my blog to appear in search engines like Google and Sphere, and in public listings around WordPress.com.’

  Will show up in the WordPress Facebook application.

  Hi All.

  Just saw timethief and josephscott posts re Facebook link.

  I am newbie and when I go to edit my profile, I can’t see where to change my privacy option to allow my blog to appear in search engines…I too want to make my wordpress blog available in Facebook. Any help appreciated.

  It is under you Admin => Options => Privacy !

  Dashboard -> Options -> Privacy
  Privacy Options
  Blog visibility:
  ___ I would like my blog to appear in search engines like Google and Sphere, and in public listings around WordPress.com
  ___I would like to block search engines, but allow normal visitors
  ___I would like my blog to be visible only to users I choose

  Mark the first option above (in bold lettering here) then click “Update Options” to save.

  That should do it. Happy blogging. :)

  My facebook isnt wokring, i can log in but i cant repl to messages or wall post, and the little arrow browser next to the things on top (like friends) doent work either!
  I may have by mistake pushed not safe when i first got my computer…i dont know if this maked sence but can any1 help?

  Are you talking about at facebook? If so, then you need to be asking over at their forum. This forum is for questions about wordpress.com blogs.
