The WordPress Reader

The Reader does not work. It never gives me anything but the animated icon.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That sure sounds like a browser related issue or a connectivity issue to me.
1. If you are not running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/ please try upgrading or switching first.
2. If you are using an IE browser in compatibility mode please disable that mode. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1196-internet-explorer-compatibility-view-turn-off.html

After enabling 3rd-party cookies, and everything else was OK, I rebooted and tried again.
As my evening wore me out trouble-shooting, I decided to load WP with Google-Chrome, and abrah-kadabrah!
I’m really getting tired of all these IT company swaps in partnering, and pulling-the-plug on Internet Explorer.
In the past few years, I’ve tested out the other common browsers. However, IE is the only one, where I can set up the windows and toolbars the way I want to work.
On Google-Chrome, I can’t even load Google-Bookmarks. It’s ridiculous, and during the ’90s the rule-of-thumb for webpage design, was to make pages readable in all the browsers.

It’s good to know that third party cookies was the issue for you and that you have resolved this.
I am not an IE fan at all. There’s zero doubt about the fact the Microsoft has yet to produce a quality browser and that IE6 barked! I am a Firefox user who will use either Google Chrome or Opera if needs be. The only time I use IE at all is to confirm what bloggers post here.

Well, I’m the opposite. I do like IE. The current version is 10.
After 3rd-party cookies enabled, it still didn’t work. I never had a problem with IE before with any sites. So, it’s a browser-war going on against IE.
If Chrome would enable the Google toolbar, and Bookmarks button, I wouldn’t mind it.–But their whole emphasis is on more real-estate on the desktop for reading and working.
I’m a toolbar and menu guy. LOL

It may be a browser war, but to be honest, you are neither a combatant in the battle, nor do you have voting rights about who or what should win.
You are free to express your opinions, but if you simply want something to work, then you should have a cup of your favorite beverage, and so move on to the things you want to accomplish.
My own battle with the main internet service provider here, so far has negligible results…
