Theme & Styles Disappeared

  I no longer have a style on my wordpress.com blog, and I don’t have a “presentation” tab or anything else to apply any themes or styles. I just recently started managing this blog, so I apologize for my lack of experience regarding this issue.

  The blog linked to your username is not a wordpress.com blog and we provide support only for wordpress.com bloggers using this wordpress MU blogging platform. If the blog you are referring to is downloaded software from wordpress.org then the correct support forum for you is http://wordpress.org/support

  Make sure the owner of the blog made you an ‘admin’ on the blog so you have access to changing themes. Sounds like you might just be a contributor or such now.

  If the blog you are referring to is a wordpress.com blog then you must post the url so staff can locate it and help you. Alternatively on weekdays between 9 and 5 PM Pacific time you can contact staff using this link http://wordpress.com/contact-support/

  Thanks for the responses. I’ll try to figure out who the official “owner” of the blog is. I thought the account I was given control over was the “owner”, but I could be mistaken. Is there an easy way for me to figure that out?

  My theme design (Fleur De Lys by Patricia Müller) has disappeared as well.

  The URL is http://sgulland.wordpress.com/

  For a while, I didn’t even have a heading with “dashboard” etc. I’m on a Mac, OS X, on FireFox. All has been well up until now.

  I’m perplexed by this. In Firefox I can’t see the design. In Safari there isn’t even a way to make a post. Clearly, a Mac issue…but I don’t know what to do about it.

  Try clearing your cookies and browser caches and try a forced reload. Sometimes that works. Also: there seems to be an intermittent issue with Adblocker, so disable it while you’re on WP.com and see if that works.

  It looks fine to me too, I’m on a mac, using firefox. But I recognize what you are describing, as it’s happened to me several times. Usually, refreshing or closing the page and then returning to the page a few minutes later solves the problem.
  It seems like you see only blog text, no css, no frills, no nothing.
  Scary when it happens. No idea where it comes from. I’ve tried to look at it with Safari when it happens, and it was alright, so maybe it’s a Firefox issue.
