  Hello, I select the ‘independent publisher’ theme for my blog. When I preview it however it looks nothing like the preview whatsoever.

  I’m used to using Weebly as a platform so I don’t know if I’m expecting too much and I need to do more to get it to look the way I want it to or if there really is a problem.

  Any help appreciated!

  Hi! It looks like you have it set to Sapor Theme right now.

  Did you click the save and activate button on the top left after you’ve previewed the theme? Here is some more information about themes. https://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/

  Hi! Thanks for responding!

  This is bizarre because at the bottom of my site is says “Blog at WordPress.com. | The Independent Publisher Theme.” and when I got onto themes, it says the independent publisher theme is being used.

  If you want to further customize the appearance of the theme, you can go to My Site ==> Themes ==> Customization. Once in customization you can change things such as color, images, and selecting navigation style or widget layout.
