  I, test74778, am starting a blog for high school students to post their essays. I’d like to have a home page with all the blogs that gives not only a heading but also a first sentence of the blog to entice the reader to click on the blog. I need to use the free designs at this stage. What I have now only has the title. Could you please let me know how to include a first sentence on the home page? Thank you

  Hi @test74778, your theme just shows titles, but there are several themes out there that will show the first line of a post or even a hand-crafted excerpt. Try one of these:
