  Hello, please, help me with the settings of my new website. I would like to use the theme Edin and work inside this theme, but my website shows an Editor template, which I don’t want! An seems my role in Appearance as an Editor beta, which I don’t want to. Please, change my settings to Edin theme.

  Hi there,

  I activated and tested the Edin theme.

  I’m getting the Customizer instead of the Site Editor, as expected.

  Edin as a theme doesn’t support Full Site Editor, which only became available to themes starting in WP 5.9.

  Hi there,

  It looks like you were able to activate Edin on your site after you created this thread yesterday, but then you switched away from it again. Your site is currently using the Morden theme.

  To use Edin, go to Appearance ->Themes and search for the theme in the showcase there. Click on the theme, and click Activate to enable it on your site.

  Note that doing this will only enable the design. It won’t change the layout or content of your site in any way, and you’ll need to follow the instructions in the theme support page to get your site looking like the demo for that theme.

  Let us know if you run into any trouble with this.

  Hello, dear friends, Thank you so much for your great help and good advice!
  I preferred to stay with the Morden theme because I tried to activate EDIN several times and it failed to change the layout or content to get my site looking like the demo for that theme. Never mind! I am happy with Morden theme.
