Hi

The theme I have doesn’t look like the actual live demo when I preview it

I kinda want it to look like the demo one

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Is this in reference to the Sobe Theme? I checked your site and it is structured like the demo. What specifically on the site isn’t looking like the demo?

I know there’s another wordpress user who has the same theme but hers looks different from mine

The only difference between your site and that site is that you’re using different color schemes and widgets, that site has a custom header image added which you don’t, and that site is showing their blog on the front page while you have a static home page. You can change all these things from the Customizer.

But Sobe has no special options or steps you need to follow to set it up.

What’s the difference between site icon and gravatar? Can you use same picture for both

Gravatar is your profile image, the one you’re also seeing above your username here, on the forums. The site icon is the little icon that is displayed on the tabs in the browser. If you look at the one for the forums, you’ll see it’s the WordPress.com logo.
So yes, you could use the same image, but you may also consider a logo or some symbol that represents you or your site.
