Theme Able does not show any featured images

Although the theme Able supports featured images (aka “post-thumbnails”), it doesn’t show them anywhere in the theme.
I have downloaded the theme and looked inside it. The word “thumbnail” gives me just one hit (add_theme_support for post_thumbnails), but there is no output for thumbnails/featured images in any theme template.
Please update the theme! :)

You cannot download themes on WordPress.com
This forum is only for WordPress.com users. Your question related to downloadable Able theme is for self-hosted WordPress.org software.
In case you are unaware, please read the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org.
Please head to Themes and Templates area on WordPress.org forums to get help with your question. Please note that you cannot use your WordPress.com account to login to WordPress.org forums. So you have to create a new account on WordPress.org to be able to login and post to their forums.

Of course you can. In the right sidebar of the theme page of each theme (only free themes of course):

I am aware of this. I have downloaded the wpcom-version from Theme Able just to know what is going on inside.
I am the moderator of the German support forum from WP.com and WP.org, so I know both sides very well. ;)

Hi Torsten – thanks a lot for letting us know about this discrepancy in Able. I’ll bring it to our developers so they can have a look.

We fixed this up and the back end and theme documentation for Able should no longer reference featured images. Thanks again!
