Theme Activation

  Hi there, our account used Jaida free theme at the beginning but when we bought the domain it has a package of a premium theme called Carnation. When we tried to activate it, all the contents are from the Jaida theme. Can you help us fix it and activate the Carnation theme? Thank you.

  Hi there,

  For the most part, changing your theme is a lot like changing the clothing on a mannequin. Your content (pages, blog posts, uploaded media) don’t go anywhere or change that much… they just assume the style of the new theme

  With this in mind, when you switch from one theme to another, you may see the old contents of your site carried over, and not see the demo content as expected. For example I can see that blog posts on your site are carried over and show the new theme layout (with the existing content) as shown in https://coachinspiritblog.wordpress.com/?p=23&preview=true

  To clarify, you are trying to set up the homepage of your site to appear as you see in the demo here? https://wordpress.com/theme/carnation/
