Theme advice to stay with wordpress

  Hi all,

  First of all: I would like to stay with wordpress, however I don’t seem to find the right theme.
  I’ll definitely go for a premium package including a domain etc, so maybe then I can see more themes?
  However: one from wix that I like extremely much is this one: https://nl.wix.com/website-template/view/html/2953

  Any advice on how to get such a result would be very much appreciated!

  Hi there!

  You can create almost any design using our Block editor. You can use one of the existing themes or go with the Blank Canvas and create something from scratch.

  Have a look at this theme, it’s using a similar layout to the one you linked:

  Thanks, I had a look but don’t seem to get it :-)
  Is it correct that a scroll effect can only be done by installing a plugin?
  And installing a plugin can only be done if you get the business subscription?

  Fyi: scroll effect as in: when you scroll down the page, a picture enters the screen, or a background stays in the same spot so the content of the bottom of the page goes over the background.

  Hi there,

  Without an upgrade you can use the “cover block” to create full sections that offer a fixed background that stays in place as you scroll. You often also hear this referred to as a “parallax effect”
