Theme Affecting About Page
-
My blog is at sizzling.wordpress.com
On my old theme–chaos theory–there was a link to my “about page” right on the main page of my blog. I didn’t create it–it was automatically there.
Now that I’ve switched to black letterhead, that link is gone.
Is there a way to get a link to my about page on the font again? Or is that not possible with this theme?
-
You should be able to add a the link via your dashboard. First create a page using Write -> Page and set the title to “About” (if this has not already been done). Then go to Design -> Widgets and add the Page widget, setting the title to About. Finally save the changes and then go to your site to see if it has worked.

Thanks, that helped a bunch!
Now do you know if there’s any way to bring that link to the top of the page, instead of all the way at the bottom?
-
yes edit the page & at the bottom of the of
the edit page you’ll see page order place the
# 1 there then click save. -
@teck07: No – that’s his only page.
@sizzlemaker: Go to Design>Widgets, drag the Pages widget above the others, click Save Changes. -
