Theme and Custom Menus issue
-
Hi, everyone.
I have realized that the theme I purchased did not natively support Custom Menus, and did not, for that matter, support drop-down menus.
I’ve been working on trying to get the Custom Menus widget to work properly with the theme (and vice versa.)
Specifically, every time I try assigning a page as a child of a parent page, it does not work, at all. And thus, it simply displays like as if it was a parent page at http://eidolonhost.com and I have the theme with me. I’m willing to supply it if I can finally get the accursed thing fixed and enabled to work with Custom Menus more correctly and with the ability to do drop-down menus like the theme 2010/11 does.
And yes, I have looked at the Custom Menus and pages codex describing how to do this, but all of this makes my head hurt because I do not know what the issue is, only that this is happening when it shouldn’t be.
Normally, I’d have someone more advanced in WordPress than I play with it for me, but this is something I’m attempting to learn. Or for that matter, the original company I paid to do the integration for me. (Getting them to answer and help me fix this issue has not worked at all, so I’m stuck coming here and asking for help.)
Fixing this issue would allow me to finally at long last complete my migration from a static HTML/CSS site to a dynamic, easily updatable site.
