[Theme: Anemone] header image blurry

  Hey, ok so I’ve been trying to figure this out and i can’t for the life of me. I wanted to create a custom header and I did on photoshop, I saved it for web and devices as a PNG-24 file with the highest quality possible and when I upload it to wordpress it comes out blurry and I don’t know what to do. My suggested size for my theme is 1920×200 which is what I set it to already in Photoshop but it still uploads super blurry. PLEASE HELP!!!!

  Hi there,

  Anemone’s custom header is designed to be a background image that will be resized and cropped depending on the size of the device it’s being viewed on. It’s therefore best suited for images that are either abstract, patterned, or photographic images that have some flexibility.

  I can see that the image you attempted to use includes text and it may, instead, be better suited alongside your site’s logo. Would you be able to use Photoshop to incorporate your existing logo with the header image you attempted to upload? You can then upload it via My Site > Customize > Site Title, Tagline, and Logo.

  The logo is well suited to images, like this one, that include text and details that need to remain at a certain size and position.
