Theme back up

    Is it possible to back up a theme in case I want to switch back to a previous one?

    Also would I need to be on Premium to do so?

    Hi –

    Whenever you switch between themes, there is no change in your site content. The front page, posts, featured images, etc… are all going to remain and move over to the new theme.

    Premium themes are a one time purchase if you are not signed up on the premium (or higher) WordPress.com plan. See here: https://wordpress.com/pricing/ On that plan level you can use as many premium themes as you’d like on the site at no additional cost.
