Theme background change caused issues
-
Hello all,
I have a chosen to use the theme “A Simpler Time” but changed both the background/base color from a very dark green to a very light white and also added some background art work.My problem is that the lettering for my navigation menu (Home, About, etc…) and the content part of my Widgets are white, and therefore now rendered practically invisible. Can someone tell me how to change the color of the fonts on the navigation menu and widget content?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You will need to purchase a custom design upgrade http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/

Thanks for the prompt reply, but I’ve already done that. I paid extra cash to fix this problem and then found out that there (1) no option for editing the font COLOR under custom design, only the style. I can change the font color under Header menu but (2) that only applies to the Site Title and Heading.
It does not change/apply to the Navigation menu or the content within the widgets. My Title, Heading and Body Text is fine but my Navigation menu and widget content is invisible and there’s no obvious way to edit the color for these elements. Check it out (myawesomeoliveshoots.com). I think I wasted $30.
Thanks!
