theme change

Hello and this is my 2 blogs http://zoonidiotikos.wordpress.com and http://vvpurto.wordpress.com, which I used for testing to be independent of the first one.
However, when I set new theme on the blog 2, it changed on blog 1 along with all the appearances I work so hard to develop, particularly custom menu and so on.
    1. How to make all my blogs totally independent and having different themes.
    2. How to create page template? Can I use such a template invisible and format new page without cut/paste?
    3. How to create static front-page without any additional widgets on it?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The only way the theme could have changed on blog 1 is if you are in the dashboard of that particular blog instead of the dashboard for blog 2 (unless something really bizarre is going on. I have 4 test blogs here, and change themes on them all the time when helping out here in the forums, and I’ve never had changing a theme on one change the theme on another.

So you’re sure that it is my fault “unless something really bizarre is going on.” It means that if I return to my old theme on blog 2 then all widgets will be restore? Also help me out how to solve problems 2 and 3?

If you return to a previous theme then all its widgets will probably be restored. If not, you’ll find them in Widgets>Inactive and drag them back to sidebar.

Re 2, the option is on the page editor screen itself: Writing Helper module.

Re 3, if “without any additional widgets” means no sidebar, you need to use a theme that supports this – see here:

Widgets on static pages or single posts

Thank you for useful info, albeit I cannot use for I found neither page editor nor plugins to start with. Is it possible that I have to upgrade my blog for CSS editing and what else?

next pointers I could not find and presume they are invisible for me.

Page editor > Attributes module > Template
Administration Panels > Plugins > Add New

Your advice will be greatly appreciated.

You can’t add Plug-in’s here, security reasons, that is why you have so many Widgets to replace the Plug-in’s you can’t do.
