theme changes denied – it says only the admin can make changes, but I AM the adm

i am the administrator, but when i try to make theme changes it says i cannot do so because i am not the administrator. i am the ONLY user and admin on my blog.

i tried that and it still didn’t work :-( i am thinking perhaps a bug with the particular theme? regardless, i appreciate your responding to my problem! :-)
-
Is it one of the premium themes? If so, the only one that could change things on that premium theme would be the person (username) who purchased it.

-
Go to users > all users in your dashboard and look to see what it says the “role” is for your username.
-
It has me marked down as the admin. and I am the only user for theblog and of course the one who created it. It’s very odd, hahaha
-
Do you mean that you’re trying to switch to a different theme, or are you just trying to change its settings?
-
Not switching themes. Just trying to change theme options. It’s odd because even in responding to these posts, it tells me I need to log in to reply. I click the login link, log in, and the fresh pg that pops up says I don’t have admin rights to respond. But, if I go back and click on the link within the email notification [that I got a response to my question] to respond, it allows me to reply. I have another WordPress blog under a diff username and have never run into these issues. I appreciate all the community responses!

User babygirlsablur Cannot Access the Dashboard Requested
You are logged in as “babygirlsablur” and do not have the necessary privileges to access the dashboard for “Baby Girl’s A Blur…”. If you are not “babygirlsablur”, please log out, and log back in with your username. If you are “babygirlsablur” and you need access, please ask an administrator of the site to invite you.

Ok, I made a quick change.
Please try clearing your browser’s cookies and cache, then try again.

Well I run into these problems whether I try to access my blog via my computer, my work computer, or my smart phone. ISP is wireless through all 3 – I think poss Linksys at home, not sure what the ISP is at work. At home I use the newest version of Mozilla ( but I ran into the same problem with Internet Explorer when I tried that). At work, it is also either newest Mozilla or IE
