Theme choice help

Hi all,
I’m looking to choose a new theme for my blog. I’ve gone through all the themes that are there, but can’t find anything I think is suitable.
The features that I mainly would like are:
– Clear and easy for readers to comment
– Wide column with the main text as some seem to be really narrow and waste space at the side of the page.
– Bright and fresh, but still ‘professional’
– Works well with multiple pages.
Any suggestions or tips, either for a suitable theme, or for ways to customise either a new theme to my needs or the current theme I use?

We Volunteers don’t provide a theme consultation service here. We simply answer support questions and leave theme selection up to bloggers. The Themes Showcase ahs a searchbox with filters. Each theme has a theme description and a live demo site. http://theme.wordpress.com/

I’m aware that a theme consultation service is not provided by other members, and I have already discovered the details and live demo features of the theme selection. I was only wondering if anyone knew of a theme that worked for them. I wasn’t asking anyone to spend time assessing my blog. Thank you anyway.

If you’re looking for a theme that has a wide content area, Nishita might be a great choice. The black color scheme is shown in the demo, but it also comes with a white version which you can choose in the theme options.
