    You don’t have access on the wordpress.com platform to the theme file unless you upgrade tot the Business Plan.

    Hi there!

    The option to edit theme files directly is enabled on WordPress.com sites with the Business plan and higher that use a custom (uploaded) theme.

    Can you tell us what exactly are you trying to achieve? Do you want to add some sort of code to your site? What is the code for?

    The reason I ask is that there are other ways to achieve the same goal without necessarily needing to add code directly to the site. If you share your goal, we can see if there are other ways to achieve it.
