Theme Colour Options Have Changed

    I paid to customise the Expound theme. Once paid I customised the theme with the various colour options and about a week later I found that the colour options had completely changed e.g. Accent 1 and Accent 2 were no longer and there was no link colour option, instead I have two new ones, buttons and links. My header font colour has also changed colour as well as a few other things which doesn’t look customisable. Why has this changed soon after I paid to customise?

    Hi there,

    There are four built-in custom color options when you customize the Expound theme:

    • Background
    • Buttons
    • Links
    • Navigation bar

    In addition to Custom Colors, your custom design upgrade includes Custom CSS. You can use CSS to change any other colors in your theme, even if they aren’t part of the built-in custom colors listed above.

    Hi Rachel,

    Thanks for your response. I do understand the current options the Expound theme offers but as I said in my original email, these options changed within a week of me upgrading e.g. rather than having a buttons options, there were options for Accent 1 and 2 and also the header colour changed. Why have they changed within a week of me purchasing it? I have emailed twice now both time the response has not addressed my query.

    Hi there, sorry about that. Our team is always on the lookout for ways to improve our custom design upgrade, and about a month ago some fixes were made to the Expound theme’s custom colors. This included a switch from accent colors to the specific custom colors I mentioned, to improve and clarify how the colors are used on the theme.

    If you’d like any help changing some of the colors on your site further using Custom CSS, just let me know. :)
