Theme customization – Staging
-
Theme customization can be long running process. When I change/buy new theme I need time to bring it into production. Is there any staging process on WordPress.com? How can I achieve to release site with the new theme not until customization is finished?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can use the preview function on the customizer.
https://en.support.wordpress.com/customizer/
You can use the preview function for CSS editing too.
https://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/#preview-custom-design-before-purchase
https://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/#how-to-exit-the-custom-design-preview
You can also make the blog private temporarily.
To change blog visibility to Private go to > Settings > Reading scroll to Blog Visibility and choose option 3. See the guide here http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings -
I already know about preview but this isn’t really answer, than, as I wrote before, customization can take days or weeks. Also taking the page temporarily isn’t really option. Days with “Site under the construction” are hopefully behind us. So, I think, there isn’t another option as doing it on the go.

What I posted above is all one can do.
There is no site under construction page provided but if you do not wish to make the site private, you can make one if you wish using a page https://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/, and then setting it as a static front page https://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/

Just to be sure you are aware of the limited customization options for wordpress.COM hosted blogs available only via annual upgrades I will provide more information below.
No template editing is possible at WordPress.COM. Bloggers here have no access to templates and cannot edit them as this is a multiuser blogging platform, whereon all blogs wearing the same theme use the same underlying template found on the live demo site for each theme.
See here for details on purchasing the annually renewable Premium bundle http://store.wordpress.com/plans/premium/ that contains a custom design upgrade required for CSS editing:

I also see that the theme on the site at http://kalcik.net/ is Wu Wei and it is an older retired theme. Retired themes do not support all wordpress.COM features, therefore, the recommendation is to switch themes and that’s easy to do.
The only themes we can use on WordPress.com hosted blogs are licensed and adapted to run on our multiuser software the themes are found here http://wordpress.com/themes/ and in your dashboard at > Appearance > Themes
See: http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/adding-new-themes/Themes are just “skins” on WordPress.COM hosted blogs. You can quickly and easily change themes on any WordPress.COM hosted blog to another one found here http://wordpress.com/themes/ and no data will be lost or negatively affected by the change. The only time you may have to do some work is if you are changing to a dramatically different theme and have done any CSS editing.
Provided you are logged in as Admin under the same username account that registered the blog go to Dashboard > Appearance > Themes, Browse themes until you find one you like and click the “activate” or the “preview” link, or type in the name of the theme you want to use when it appears.
The theme customizer https://en.support.wordpress.com/customizer/ provides a preview function for exactly that purpose ie. so you can view what a theme will appear like prior to changing one.
Note that every theme will have a detailed theme description page with set-up instructions and a live demo site page that you can consult. Here’s an example:

Yes and that is the point. As you already saw I customized Wu Wei theme. This is really small and clean theme but when you change to something like this https://corporatethemedemo.wordpress.com/ I think you can understand that the switch can’t be done quickly. So no staging on wordpress.com, i think will suppose it as feature.
