theme – dara. downloaded self-hosted theme and the widget do not show

    Hello

    I downloaded wordpress and installed on my machine using docker-compose, mariadn, nginx.

    I downloaded the self-hosted theme: https://wordpress.com/theme/dara

    I am having an issue with it saying jetpack-disconnected.
    I cannot see all the widgets to build my site correctly.

    Can anyone let me know if this only works when installed on wordpress.com
    not downloaded on self-hosted site?

    I was sure this would work as there was a link to download this theme.

    Hi there,

    You can use Dara on a self-hosted site, but some features, including the social links menu, site logo, and certain widgets, are added by the Jetpack plugin. So you also need Jetpack installed on your site and connected to your WordPress.com account for all features of the theme to work correctly.
