Theme discontinued

  A year ago I set up this blog for my wife using a free theme. We’re getting involved in seriously now but I saw that the theme had been discontinued and we’re now using The Nishita Theme. Is it possible this may be discontinued as well?

  Themes are retired when they no longer support all WordPress.com features. Those who have used them on their blog previously or who are using theme when retired can continue using theme. Those who have not used it cannot. It’s always possible that a theme may be retired in the future.   Every theme may be subject to being retired at some point. Regardless you can continue to use it if you already have it enabled on your site, however it may not support all the newest features.
