Theme does not display in remote browser.

  I have just installed Wordpres for the first time on a local test server. Locally everything appears to be working fine. The issue is that when I connect to the WP blog remotely, I see the text for the page, but no graphics or CSS, or anything as far as the theme I have chosen displays.
